Odisha Consumer Co-op Federation Ltd.
The Odisha Consumers Co-operative Federation (OCCF) Ltd., Bhubaneswar is an Apex Organization in the Co-operative sector which deals with and distributes consumers through its 10 nos. branches at Baripada, Jeypore, Malgodown Cuttack, Rourkela, Bhawanipatna, Phulbani, Dhenkanal, Sarnbalpur, Bhanjaprabha Order Supply, Kolkata and 4 nos. Departmental stores in the name and style of Bhanjaprabha Super Bazar at Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Purl and Berhampur. Besides sale of consumer goods, OCCF has a Food processing unit in its Head Office premises at Bhubaneswar. This unit processes and packs various food commodities & spices in consumer pack which are sold through its outlets. There is also a mini printing press run by the Federation.

The System of functioning of Apex, Lead & Link Societies :
The Odisha Consumers Cooperative is a State Level Apex Institution in the State of Odisha. The object of the Federation is to distribute the essential consumers articles through its members societies in the State of Odisha in three tier systems and responsible for bulk purchases from source point and manufactures / Mills.
The central societies are functioning at Subdivision level and responsible to procure stocks from Apex societies (OCCF) and distribute the same through primary stores / LAMPS remaining at Block level.
For carry out the distribution system smoothly 39 nos. of WCCS and 64 nos. RCMS were established in the subdivision level, out of which 19 nos. of WCCS are functioning & 20 nos. of WCCS deunctioned. Similarly 50 nos. of RCMS are functioning % 14 nos. of RCMS defunct. The object of WCCS is to deal essential consumer articles for distribution in their locality & responsible to their member societies. The main object of RCMS is to distribute fertilizer, pesticides to the farmers & procurement of surplus Agriculture produces from the farmers and promote marketing the same. They are responsible to their member societies.
39 nos. Central Societies (WCCS) has been affiliated to OCCF as member societies out of which 20 nos. of WCCS defunct. Similarly 37 nos. RCMS has been affiliated to OCCF as member societies in the State of Odisha, out of which 9 nos. of RCMS are defunctions.
